Well here it is. Site building took less then anticipated and we finalized our game plan as a group.

Game Plan:

September 9th: Have acquired approval for using the logos of the university and working to be linked on the FSV/IPS site. In addition to working on being linked to the other faculty sites.

By October 1st: Five brand new articles will be going live with the biggest goal being populating our site.

October 8th: We are open to the public! We will have the site published and ready to updated with content routinely.

While todays meeting was very… let’s say ‘passionate’ it didn’t come without challenges.

Challenges:

Fucking hell it was a mess picking a goddam name. The running included many many MANY options all accompanied by MANY many opinions. After three beers and hours of deliberation we settled on three options: The Bridge, The Král, and The Karlovian. My first and only love “The Karlovian” was brutally battered and bloodied by the end of the debate.

But when the dust settled…..

The Král remained. I may have my issues with the name for SEO and marketing reasons albeit it’s not as big of a mess to market as “The Bridge”. So fair is fair and we move on. RIP the Karlovian and all hail The Král.

What are challenges without accomplishments? Good question we are getting into that next.

Accomplishments:

We have a goddam name. Hopefully it will grow on me aswell as the rest of y’all reading this.

Our categories are set and our tags organized. We now have time to do what we set out to do. Write.
