It’s been a while since we have put out a proper update from the Karlovian team! So if you’re reading this and you’re a part of the team please pay attention to the changes marked in yellow. If you’re a member from the PPE society as a whole please pay attention to the sections in red Aswell yellow. If you are a casual reader of the site, enjoy the transparency. 

Organization of Posting

• Two teams for posting schedule

-allows for both teams to have two weeks to create content (3 stories minimum)

-Aswell as allows for constant weekly posts without too much time between them

–These changes have been reflected in the “Topics and Deadlines Form”, so it is imperative that everyone does their part to make sure it’s up to date! 

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday Schedule for instagram content, overflow content will be published on the site and given a free slot for promotion on social media on a tuesday or thursday. 

Social Media

• Instagram has been launched
• Linktree is available
• Social Media Strategy is being re-worked, (Posts for Tue/Thurs Slots) 

–Expansion into multimedia (Shorts/Reels/Something else) “Ex, Jane on the street” 

–Infographics: Break complex things into short posts. “Ex, WTF IS:” 

General Organization Changes

• Bi weekly meetings going forward (Online) 
• Section Heads have the ability to lead meetings
• Last meeting of the month is always in person
• Looking to expand further

Challenges

• Will likely need a separate social media team, or new writers depending on how the team adapts and grows
• Growth has stagnated, trended slightly downward, therefore need to brainstorm and execute ways to increase engagement

-More shares from writers and PPE society

-More “Shareable” Content
